BPS Pilani was a day school till 1948 and was changed into a purely residential institution in 1952. -
The Montessori school turned into a full-fledged public school in the year 1954 under the guidance of the industrialist Shri G.D. Birla. -
The school now has 15 beautifully designed hostels catering to the needs of the 1000 pupils coming from different cultural backgrounds. -
